Tabitha Booth Artistry: Where Music Meets Multi-sensory Design
Introduction
Tabitha Booth is a production designer, music artist, and founder of Tabitha Booth Artistry based in New Jersey: a production design studio for music events. In 2020, for her music video, “Death By Bridge,” she received Best First Time Producer Award and Grand Jury Best Music Video from Oniros Films in St. Vincent, Italy. Art runs in her blood. Her dad has been a pioneering tattoo artist since the 90s, and Tabitha grew up absorbing all of it without even realizing she was learning the exact skills she'd one day use to build her own business.
In addition to continuing education in design courses at institutions such as Cooper Union and Parsons School of Design, she got a degree in classical piano, fell in love with music, and later faced a period of intense stage fright — until a mentor helped her push through it. Without him, she says, she wouldn't be able to sing in public today. Now, she concludes a program at School of Audio Engineering departing with a soundbed for a meditative-infused rock opera which she is working with a Sketchup artist (from none other than ArtCube!) to translate her production design.
"The work has always been in my family," she says. "I didn't choose this — it chose me, the same way it chose them."

What's in Motion for 2026
First: her cover of “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin— dropping on Mint400 Records' 1970s compilation this May — with 15 musicians, one of the most ambitious song recordings she's tackled. It will be performed this Fall in a forthcoming stagework.
Second: Song of the Meadowlark, a fundraising working production that's part rock opera, part meditation, live painting and handcrafted elixirs. Interactive. Expansive. Fully alive in a shared room in real time — kicking off early November at Morris Museum’s Bickford Theatre in Morristown, NJ.
Why Production Design for Music Video & Live Events
Tabitha Booth Artistry is built around something the design founder and vocal artist kept seeing: music shows without production design that couldn't get funded, and productions without real music that felt flat. She was already the musician. She already knew how to build a room. So she combined them. In her signature series, Quest for Harmony, tailored specifically for independent musicians with an interest in artistic development, Ms. Booth offers her field knowledge to her industry peers - as an emerging design professional.
That's not a theory — she's done it on the ground. As a scenic artist she's worked on the FIFA World Cup Watch Party in Hudson Yards, the Dexter Aftershow, the US Open, the Met Gala and the MTV VMAs. She knows what it takes to build a space that makes people feel something, and she knows what happens when the music and the room are finally working together in unison.
Through Art Cube Nation, she also landed gigs working the Victoria’s Secret show and Giorgio Armani, two of the most high-profile fashion productions in the industry. She's also been exploring the connection between sound and color.
Sound, Color, and Newton's Unfinished Theory
The hypothesis isn't new — Isaac Newton himself proposed that musical notes and the color spectrum share proportional relationships, mapping the seven notes of the scale to the seven colors of the rainbow. He never fully resolved it. If even in sentiment, for Tabitha, that's not a dead end. It's an open door — directly - and existentially - influencing how she designs her productions.
All of that research feeds back into the same place — the room, the people, the shared experience.
"The most exciting thing about being a musician is that you never make it alone. The whole room is in it with you."

That kind of presence doesn't happen by accident. Tabitha's wellness routine — yoga, journaling, and frankincense — and long drives in a prop truck - is how she stays grounded. For her, it's less about reaching a destination and more about honoring the process along the way.
And if she had an unlimited budget? She'd build an underwater concert hall with the most rad team — art, music, engineering, all of it. Book the biggest artists of the moment: Lady Gaga, Björk, Rosalía. Have them perform for the world accompanying the sonics of blue whales in the background and their swelling oceanic arcs.
