Why We Support the Sustainable Fashion Community Center

It is no secret that the fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world. The textile industry alone is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions, and the average person in the United States throws away nearly 70 pounds of clothes each year.

However, there is a growing movement of fashion designers, entrepreneurs, and everyday people who are working to change the way they produce and consume clothing. The Sustainable Fashion Community Center is at the forefront of this movement, and we need your help to continue our work.

They work with local businesses, designers, and manufacturers to help them reduce their environmental impact and make more sustainable choices. They also offer educational programs and resources to help people learn about sustainable fashion. One of our most important programs is our internship program, which pays youths to intern at the center. This program helps to provide young people with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the sustainable fashion industry. They are dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion and providing a safe space for our members and the community to gather and grow.
