The first idea that pops to my mind would be to print your lettering on vinyl and then apply the vinyl to the canvas and then blow dry it so that the vinyl takes on the texture of the canvas.
I know you can do this technique with vinyl + brick bc the vinyl fits to form when heated- tho I haven’t attempted the process on canvas before so I’d def suggest doing a test before going into full production.
Or you can call a print shop to see if they can do it-

I hadn’t even considered a heat form vinyl on the material…
I’d think I’d like to try that even just as a test of a new technique.
