Hi Kaleil, I’m not a food stylist, but I would recommend reaching out to working food stylists in NYC and seeing if they’d hire you as an assistant - usually a beginner assistant would do basic things like food shopping and food prep (washing, organizing, chopping, etc.) You’ll learn a ton by being an assistant. Google “NYC food stylist” and find people’s websites to contact them through, or search #nycfoodstylist on instagram and DM them. Good luck!
