Hey Y'all -
I'm looking to add a new Project & Production Manager to our lighting studio in Brooklyn. We create lighting installations / scenic for experiential events, live music, art, shoots, etc, and often work with Fabricators, Production Designers, Artists, etc. I'm currently handling most of the Project & Production Management myself but looking to hire someone to take over this part of my job. I'll definitely still be involved and will always offer my support and experience.
We can train you on all the specifics of our practice, as we design and build our own LED and control systems. This Position definitely requires some hands-on work as well, as we work as a team and sometimes it's all hands on deck. Some jobs will require being onsite - most jobs are in NYC but some may send you to another city. Looking for someone full-time M-F (10-6) although occasional evening and weekend availability is needed - one the other hand if you need the occasional day off for whatever reason, that's ok too. We need someone that we can count on.
The studio is off the Kosciusco J on Bushwick / Bedstuy line.
You will need to use Slack, Google Docs & Drive, Mac, PC, Adobe Suite, and more. Experience with media software, soldering, DC power, DMX, and light fabrication is a plus. Parts Spec'ing and Ordering, Logistics management, Crew booking and Management, kit packing, finding vendors and suppliers, interfacing with clients, quoting and invoicing will all be part of the job. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Rate depends on experience
(but definitely above minimum wage, mentioned to stay within artcube guidelines)
