Kayden Michael – Freelance Photographer / Art Director

I am a passionate multidisciplinary artist dedicated toward boundary pushing creative direction, I have 7+ years worth of professional photography experience accompanied by a fine arts background, with my portfolio ranging from drag shows and event photography, to e-commerce and studio portraiture. I’ve been able to display my work within several galleries across New York and work with a variety of brands and magazines, where my knowledge of production allowed me to easily adapt between the various workflows and environments. Previous clientele includes Elle Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Kenneth Cole, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Ralph Lauren, as well as actors Sasha Velour, Lachlan Watson, and Mason Alexander Park. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative spaces, with my work reflecting my ability to bring empathy and agility to any project. 

My goal with joining the Art Cube community is to find more opportunities to curate immersive and compelling projects that cause me to connect and engage with diverse audiences. I am extremely passionate about narrative driven content, and tend to keep my focus lying within the visual communication of authenticity. However I am very interested in learning about things outside my skillset in order to expand it. By paying the utmost attention to details, I remain well equipped to oversee projects from initial concept reference to final execution and am open to exploring any pathway. I enjoy exploring a variety of unconventional methods when problem solving, and designing innovative uses of lighting, composition, and color to produce high quality original results.
