I've lived here my whole life so I have lots of suggestions.
Michael Olszewski (The Treetop Craftsman) has a great woodshop/fabrication studio on Grand River in Detroit. He's been in the business building sets for a long time, one of the most professional makers I've ever worked with and his quality is top notch.
The build crew for Theatre Bizarre. A few of them have worked for the Thanksgiving Day Parade here in Detroit building parade floats (I used to work there with them). I know a lot of freelance set carpenters, prop fabricators, etc.
Display Group does furniture rentals and some fabrication builds. Might be worth contacting Woodward Throwbacks to see if they would rent out some of their furniture. They are a small team that upcycles materials from Detroit into beautiful furniture. I could probably get you in touch with the theatre department at Wayne State University or Meadowbrook Theatre to see if they would rent their furniture/props as well.
Favorite antique stores in Detroit/Metro area: Odd Fellows, Time Warp, Town Peddler, Vintage Eastern Market, Vogue Vintage. Not sure if they rent out to film production but worth giving these ones a call.
Heather @paintedladytrashions sells oddities at the Rust Belt in Ferndale, she's a huge horror fan and sells wild stuff. Also James @veryfinecrapvideos_ makes horror props that look like real human skin. I bought a lamp from him this summer that looks like a bunch of human faces stitched together lol
Lots of Value World thrift stores in the area.
There is a very resourceful FB Group called "Where's Spot" with production folks who've worked all over, I'm sure if you posted this there, you'd receive ample replies and connect with some pros too.
Hi! I used to be a set dresser in Detroit. Used to rent things out from Vintage Eastern Market, great people! Woodward Throwbacks has incredible pieces and a salvage warehouse. When I was there there was really only one fabrication studio that did the main jobs that came through, happy to chat via dm more if you’d like.
