‘Made in NY’ Post-Production Training Program: Cycle 15 Begins – January 30

• MOME’s Post-Production training program, presented in partnership with Brooklyn Workforce Innovations (BWI) and the NYC Department of Small Business Services, is part of the ‘Made in NY’ series of workforce development initiatives, meant to prepare New Yorkers for entry-level positions in editing, graphic design, motion graphics, and visual effects.

IATSE Studio Mechanics Grip and Shop Craft Training – December 17

• Deputy Commissioner Kwame Amoaku met with students of the IATSE Studio Mechanics Grip and Shop Craft Training program at Local 52 Union Hall in Queens.

•  This training, part of the MediaMKRS series and presented in partnership with Reel Works, prepares early-career professionals for union jobs in the Shop Craft department in film and television production, serving to strengthen the industry’s infrastructure.
