Seeking Master Carpenters, ATDs, Shop Carpenters, Sculptors and Welders!

Woman owned and operated scene shop is seeking carpenters and fabricators to join the family! We are growing and looking for master carpenters, ATDs, shop carpenters, sculptors and welders to add to our team. Responsibilities may include (in no particular order of importance) A comprehensive knowledge of traditional scenic construction techniques, metal working and welding, rigging standards and techniques An ability to understand, estimate and build from both design + technical drawings Have the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask. Must be able to see the bigger picture Have the ability to work independently + as part of a team. Efficiently communicate to crew what is required/expected, keep them motivated through completion of tasks. Compile material take offs for estimates and material orders from provided plans. Be able to efficiently supervise and instruct assistants. Be able to direct others. Maintain a clean, safe and fun shop. Exceptional collaborative attitude. Exceptional customer service attitude. Excellent work ethic including but not limited to: time management, work flow management, self-motivation, diplomacy, and interpersonal and collaborative communication skills. Must have valid drivers license, Must be able to work out of Freehold, NJ office/shop. Pay based on experience.
