Seeking Production Manager for Fabrication/Experiential Company

Standard Transmission Productions (www.stp.nyc) is a rapidly growing integrated display and experiential advertising and production company, specializing in technology and custom fabrication for multiple Fortune 500 clients in Retail, Advertising, and Consumer Brands. STP has over 22,000 ft2 of fabrication and design space in Brooklyn, NY. We employ a highly-skilled fabrication team including specialists in design, scenic, carpentry, metal fabrication, LED technology, digital signage, animatronics, & content creation. STP is seeking a hands-on full-time fabrication Production Manager with an understanding and capacity to respond to RFPs, a strong understanding of materials, design, fabrication and installation, as well as the ability to be client-facing & collaborate in production and team management. The chosen candidate will lead a team of seasoned fabricators to deliver memorable experiences rooted in best-in-class design, craftsmanship, and the latest technology. Projects include large-scale display installations with a technology focus and custom-fabricated environments for retail spaces, the fashion world, theater, pop-up spaces, and events. Clients include major retailers, artists, museums, galleries, ad agencies, and cultural institutions. Our ideal candidate will be a team player and a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills. An understanding of production design drawings and CAD required.. Position to start immediately. Must work in-house, not remotely. Responsibilities: Ingesting and executing bids associated with incoming RFP's and collaborating on bids with Executive Team Working with the Design & Draft teams to review and facilitate production drawings Working with Project Producer to create and oversee fabrication timelines and budgets Assist with resource planning and management, and procuring new talent and expanding STP's roster of freelancers Order and tracking materials for incoming projects Work with Project Management to deliver projects on time and in budget Optimizing existing and defining new production processes and workflow Design and Production Quality Control Requirements: 5+ years proven experience directing $500-1.5M fabrication projects 5+ years of fabrication shop experience. High-level understanding and experience with Autocad / Rhino / Solidworks Experience with project management software e.g. Trello, Harvest, Smartsheets, Google Docs Great communication and problem solving skills and an innate ability to inspire and motivate teams Compensation Annually: 85-95K
