Seeking Technical Director for Production Company

Job Description: The Technical Director has an understanding and capacity to respond to RFPs, a strong understanding of materials, design, fabrication and installation, as well as the ability to be client-facing & collaborate in production and team management. The chosen candidate will lead a team of seasoned fabricators to deliver memorable experiences rooted in best-in-class design, craftsmanship, and the latest technology. Our ideal candidate will be a team player and a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills. An understanding of production design drawings and CAD required. Responsibilities include: -Executing and collaborating on bids with Executive Team -Working with Design and Draft Team to review and facilitate shop drawings -Collaborating with Project Producer on project timelines, budgets, ordering materials -Optimizing production flow and process -Resource planning and management, procuring new talent -Design and Production quality control Requirements: -5+ years proven experience directing $500-1.5M fabrication projects -5+ years of fabrication shop experience. -High-level understanding and experience with Autocad / Rhino / Solidworks -Experience with project management software e.g. Trello, Harvest, Smartsheets, Google Docs -Great communication and problem solving skills and an innate ability to inspire and motivate --teams Please contact * Join to View * with resume/portfolio Thanks!
