Shop Carpenters

We are a full service scenic / set fabrication shop located in Asbury Park area, NJ. We specialize in the event marketing, trade show, fashion, and store display markets. Our shop handles carpentry, cnc, welding, and finishing.

We are seeking freelance to permanent shop carpenters. Candidates should have experience working with hand tools, power tools, and working with materials such as plywood, laminate, and light metal. Candidates should have experience building scenic elements such as flats, platforms/risers, bars and cabinets, and have the ability to read and build from shop drawings.

Must be able to take direction, and work well with a team of other fabricators / carpenters.

Must be flexible with schedule

Must have experience in the building trades

Must be able to travel to and from the shop daily

Opportunity for temporary work to turn into full-time work.

Experienced carpenters desired but willing to train less experienced people with the right attitude.

Compensation between based on experience.
