VOLUNTEER INTEREST: MAKE FACE SHIELDS FOR HOSPITALS

Hi all,

A contact at NYC HHC just alerted me of the potential need for handmade face shields.

This is not a 100% go yet — I’m still waiting for the go ahead from her.

But wanted to feel out potential interest for volunteers who could do this from home.

We will also need volunteers to donate (from their own stocks) or help source materials:

• 16 or 20 gauge Marine grade clear vinyl sheets
• 1″ polyurethane foam
• 3/8″ to 1/2″ braided elastic
• high quality mounting tape (gorilla/scotch/etc)

Please email me directly if you have interest so we can get a spreadsheet going of volunteers.
