Hello, I worked on a movie last year and we did a scene with water breaking. I set that up with a large long tube and an oversize syringe. We ran the tube off camera and it worked pretty well.
Make sure the tube is thick like maybe half-inch and as large a syringe so there’s plenty of water to come out.
We had issues with wardrobe because she was wearing baggy sweatpants, and the water didn’t penetrate the sweatpants quick enough so make sure whatever you decide to go with you test it several times.
