Woodworking shop is looking for a P/T Helper

A woodworking shop located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is looking for a helper.

We specialize in interior millwork and exterior doors.

Applicants should have a basic understanding in woodworking and carpentry.

Must be coachable, have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Tasks would eventually include operating shop machinery: jointers, planer, drum sander, saws etc , as well as anything else that needs doing to assist and keep things moving along.

Skills in spraying/ finishing would be a big plus, but I’m willing to teach.

We are looking for applicants that share a passion in the field of woodworking and learning to advance their skills.

This position is listed as part time 20 hours/week but most likely would lead to full time.

Currently we need help in the afternoons from 2pm-6pm.
