AMELIA STEELY (PRODUCTION DESIGNER) is a Production Designer based in LA. Three projects she designed will premiere at SXSW this year: WE STRANGERS, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE, and MAKE ME A PIZZA. She specializes in character-driven set design and creating a cohesive visual style across a story through color and texture. She takes pride in creating environments with realistic detail, and showcasing the beauty of the everyday. As a member of ADG Green committee and The Production Designer Collective's Coalition for Sustainable Production Design, Steely prioritizes reducing the environmental impact of the film industry starting with the art department. She holds a degree in painting from Pratt Institute and may have sneakily audited the entire NYU Tisch filmmaking curriculum.
