ID badge printer recommendations?

Considering purchasing an ID badge printer and I was wondering if anyone had any advise or recommendations? I've run into the issue of needing to print ID badges on the fly with a particular client, and/ or having little lead time between casting and shoot. Right now I'm looking at the two models below.
