looking for Volunteers: We 💙 Heroes – a movement to give back to our front line healthcare workers

As my core business is still closed, I have turned my attention to doing some good for our front line workers and I am in need of boots on the ground (people at their computers) help.

We 💙 Heroes is a give back to your local front line medical workers who have been risking their and their family’s lives to save ours. It's a thank you to those who choose to stay on after watching their colleagues die or give up in droves, those who are still deep in the trenches. Those who stand between us and the loaded gun.

We 💙 Heroes is a simple idea. Non partisan. Non political. Businesses, large and small, contribute something of value from the heart to help make our healthcare workers lives a little brighter. They decide what it is. Could be free coffee on the way to the hospital, meals to the ER, someone to clean their house or even help cleaning up their credit score.

Everyone wants to give back to their local slammed medical community–they just didn't know how. This is the perfect vehicle. If everyone gives a little, it means a lot.

Surprisingly, there is not another organization trying to organize something on a national level for first line responders! We 💙 Heroes is it!

Businesses, large and small, contribute something of value from the heart, whatever they can to help make our healthcare workers lives a little brighter. They decide what it is. Could just be free coffee on the way to the hospital, meals to the ER, someone to clean their house or even help cleaning up their credit score. Up to the business what they want to give. Plus we are a 501c3 so all the donations are a tax write off for participating businesses.

I am in need of a few things:

1. A PR agency who will get involved for a few weeks pro bono to do local NYC press for our launch event in NYC and then national press so this will snowball

2. People to do business outreach. Everyone wants to give back to their local healthcare workers. They just didn't know how. This is the vehicle. Every business I have called has said yes, they want to participate. This is whatever hours you can give

3. Someone to coordinate the gathering and posting of social media. We have over 30 businesses in 20 states signed up and everyone wants to do social for this. We need someone to helm it. This could turn into a paid position as we move forward.

4. Celebrities who support their front line health care workers

For the moment this is all volunteer, but you do get a tax write-off for in kind services if that applies. If you know anyone who can help, please send them my way.

We 💙 Heroes is the right thing, at the right time with the right intentions.
