Hi! I had a question I needed advice on I have such a difficult door I need to install. I am having trouble finding an easy renter friendly door that would work well. There is no frame. I'm thinking of installing from just the ceiling creating minimal drilling. Just can't think of a door that will close with such a bad frame. Any advice? I attached a photo.

create a fram out of 2x4s that you can shim into place between walls then working off that you can put in a door frame and door and plywood the open space
Space saving idea— and depending on the tenant having kids that might hurt themselves playing with it (u never know!) an upgraded option that might work could be putting in a sliding bar door?
You can pickup a stndrd. Single Track Barn Door Kit and repurpose a weight appropriate option either used or cut to size from a recycled material!
I’ve seen some neat ones in super small spaces that look chic in comparison to a standard ( and often clunky) door.
A barn door won’t work on this frame though, there’s no top frame that will support it
