I’m wondering if it’s because this utilizes a straight stitch as well…I’d probably do a zig zag to see if that helps but I don’t think that’s available on your machine.. But maybe you can adjust the tension? Would be concerned about it getting funky that way. Are you able to possibly change how the rope is connected to the shapes (like sewing an X or something and seeing if that helps).. good luck!
I think it is a tension issue! Try ironing it?
