Goodbye to our Uncanny Valley!

 

We are moving out of our dear Uncanny Valley space (and over to a new spot nearby-ish). 

 

I will have an open house sale of costumes and more on Saturday Feb 25 from 1-7 and Sunday Feb 26 from 12-3. 

 

Come rummage or just hang out with some wine Saturday afternoon-into-evening as we say goodbye to this beloved space. Tell your friends if you want!

 

Location is 147 Manhattan Avenue at Meserole Street— Brooklyn 11206. Close to the Montrose L; the Lorimer J/M; the Broadway G

 

Getting rid of most of my stock of costumes— clothes including old vintage (pre 1990s) and more recent “vintage” (1990s to 2000s).  Various sizes. Men’s and women’s. Some period and fantasy costumes. Coats and gowns. I need to get rid of it all- selling bags of clothes for $25 and select pieces price as marked.

 

And lots of other things, make an offer/ pay-what-you-can.

 

Assorted sewing things: Vintage home sewing machines. Dress forms. Some fabric. 

 

Musical instruments: Drums. Drum hardware. 4x10 Speaker cabinet. Guitars. Megaphones. Audio gear and stereo components from the 20th and 21st centuries. 

 

So many old typewriters. So many 1960s suitcases.

 

IKEA futon sofa/ very lightly used. 

 

Drafting table.

 

Large and sturdy metal table— great for a desk or work table. 70” by 36” and 30” tall.

 

Industrial kick press for grommets.

 

Dress forms.
